An armed rhino poacher in South Africa’s Kruger National Park was trampled to death when a herd of elephants charged as he lined up a shot for the animals’ lucrative horns
Some good news today, thank you.
Why isn’t it more socially acceptable to discuss why, or more specifically who is causing these horns to be so valuable?
It’s not? Depends on what social group you mean here I guess.
I love a happy ending to a story
Love that for him!
Elephants are pretty smart, they probably knew exactly what they were doing and why
That’s potentially true. Elephants in highly poached areas know the difference between rangers with guns there to protect them, and guys with guns there to poach.
“Now the hunter… Has become hun- dead. Oh, that’s definitely dead…”
ETA:
A Kruger National Park source said: “The two ran in different directions but the one lining up the shot was the slowest to his feet and the elephants went for him first. He was quickly over run and the elephants trampled him into the earth and all that we found was basically a very large blood stain around the clothing he was in.
Rapid-fire comments:
- That’s the most Looney Toons death ever
- I guess the elephants herd some danger
- Imagine making such fucked choices that your family could collect your remains in rags and buckets
amazing. you’re great
Nature is healing.
yeah. but no, we’re currently in a sixth mass extinction, no matter how many orca attack boats or elephants trample poachers, nature is losing and losing fast.
No no, nature is hurting
…the right ones.

Neat
Good. Deserved. Nice to see elephants looking out for their tank bros.
Tank holds agro while dps comes from behind.
Had to check this wasn’t posted in Uplifting News
There’s always the cross-post feature!
Yes but c/upliftingnews does not like schadenfreude so this post would likely be removed, same goes for c/goodnewseveryone.
Technically it belongs in Downtrodding News.
Oh no!
Anyway
I’ll upvote every single comment in this thread, and for all time, whenever someone praises a dirty poacher getting killed by the wildlife the vile cunts are hunting. It warms my heart knowing there are people that care enough for wildlife out there.
Good 😁
Fortunately nothing of value was lost.
