1·2 days agoyou always leave with a full charge as you can charge at home overnight, so that helps
I charge mine 80% of the time off the solar panels on my roof here in Australia. Making your own fuel is quite the thing.
Another 10% is overnight on a cheap tariff
and the other 10% public charging on longer trips.

For my use case on my bike, a Nokia XR20. phone in a DIY case with a Quad lock mount to show maps and record rides. My normal phone for recording hikes etc
nothing, everything we do is making it worse, ironically, including this thread with distraction ;)

i hired a car in Miami, driving to Disney world, as an Australian we “keep left” in this situation,. so along with trying to drive at the speed limit, in a foreign country, on the “wrong” side of the road, I kept getting the finger and beeping… wtf. Took me about 4 dudes in trucks “polietly” informing me of my trangression for me to realise… keep right :)

eyeface? Blowback…The only sane outcomes is to say doing more of the same will lead to worse atrocities and do something different. All this is retaliation is going to do is make it worse.
look at the Iran thing, lot of conservatives say they’re worried Iran will build a nuke and sail it into Manhattan… why are they worried about that ? what is it they’ve done to Iran over many decades that they think that’s a possible retaliatory outcome ?
Not sure if it counts but Toto’s song Africa has an installation in Africa, powered by solar panels and batteries and it’s played on an endless loop.

not sure I agree and i think perhaps it’s a difference in definition, I’d say what he’s talking about as cowardice under my definition. We see this playing out in Ukraine by not going all in against Russia, similar by not being outraged about gaga we side with the fascists and Cuba, the random killing of fisherman in The Caribbean etc etc
but to me pacifism means the violence of war is a last resort, not the go to first reaction but if you must engage, go all in.
