Looks like LLM slop. That’s not an OBDII port it’s plugged in to and hand held scanners like that don’t have a cable coming out of the bottom.

We have a big screen and a powerful computer now in every car, but errors are still displayed by a check engine light, which then needs to be read with 1980s computer technology to generate an alphanumeric code, which you then need another computer to decipher.
Just fucking tell us what’s wrong.
Somehow, Kermit The Truck, our 1996 GMC Sonoma, only throws one error code, P0300, says low fuel pressure or some nonsense, as that’s one of the newest sensors on it and it runs fantastic!
Something like ~220k miles on it now, and it cranks right up faster than a 2020 vehicle with that stupid Start/Stop shit, and even runs smoother no less.

Yeah. My 2013 chevy spark just hit that too. Car is worth 4k if it worked, repair bill is just under 4k. It is now being donated to habitat for humanity. I told myself I would drive it into the ground and it looks like I did. I just thought that day would be a lot further out than 125k miles. I will never buy a chevy car again.

Yeah, like I said, I will never buy a chevy car again. The transmission carrier bearing is worn out. It is also where the speed sensor is housed. So the speedo drops out any time you are not accelerating. This causes a speed/air/fuel mismatch and kills the car any time you slow down unless you keep it in gear (manual). So if I beak too much on the high way or going up to a red light, the car dies and I quickly have to get it in gear and pop the clutch to jump start it, or awkwardly start turning the key to start it normally while moving.
The bearing is about 35$. Taking out, disassembling, rebuilding, and reassembling, reinstalling the transmission is over 3500$. The car is worth 4k at best. Not worth it. Apparently this is a known issue with this transmission and replacing the bearing just gets you another 100k till you have to do it again.
