Doesn't that make more sense than lots of people caring about Cracker Barrel?

Well, obviously. That’s been hapoening with other stuff too - eg the phrase “Blue Anon.” Sometimes stuff like this is for market manipulation, eg shorting Cracker Barrel stock.

That makes sense. The new logo was dumb and bland, but I can’t imagine anyone caring that much.

I remember hearing about it and thinking “that is a pretty stupid marketing move given their schtick” and heard there was a restaurant redesign to go with it and went to look it up since no one had detail on it.

So a quick Internet search and saw that conservatives just lost their damn minds about them going woke and that the new logo was woke and everything was just so woke. I decided to tolerate one because she claimed that she was going to visit one to show the remodel. Turns out she had no idea about cracker barrel because it was just the same look as always, but she seemed genuinely perplexed that the staff was polite and “not woke at all” (i.e. white). She was utterly confused because all her online exposure had her all geared up for some rude minorities…

Unless you live in the vicinity of one, how often do you even think about them. I think I’ve seen maybe one in my life but I’m not in the south

Just another attempt at market manipulation. Somethink akin to trying to speedrun Coke->New Coke->Coke Classic.

There are bigger fish to fry.

No, it’s been a thing for years, especially during the election(s). This was much more easier to isolate and measure, I think, because there’s really no reason to tie it to politics.

Seems close to being tortious interference / negligent interference. They’re just lying to damage a business.
