I’m out of the loop, is it just someone being completely oblivious to the large coal plant in the background, or does the character have like a chronic illness causing them to cough?
The good news is, this isn’t much of a spoiler. The game shows this part coming from miles away. You learn about the disease probably like 3/4ths through the game. It’s part of the ending, but it isn’t what makes the story good.
Me too. I have a wife and kids, and a 50 hour a week job. Been plugging away sporadically for a year. It’s not the spoiler that bothers me, it’s the “it’s a blah blah year old game why haven’t you finished it yet etc etc”
I’ve played it, but yeah, 7 years isn’t that long. If it were like 20 then yeah, people probably have already played it or weren’t going to —though still, there will be some new people, either younger people or curious people, so not an excuse to spoil it. 7 is still recent enough that people are still going to be new to the game.
I haven’t really been super interested in watching the HP films, but my children might eventually be and maybe I’ll watch the movies with them some day in the future? For this reason, I’ve taken care at least to not know who kills him. This came kind of out of the blue here.
The game came out in 2018, I think a reasonable amount of time has passed to not have to worry about spoiling things. I guess I could’ve just said that rather than make a rude/sarcastic comment, sorry about that
I usually buy my computers used when they are dirt cheap. That means, I typically come about 10 years after everyone else regarding new games. It works just fine, except for some unfriendly people who like to spread spoilers. Also, especially with Bethesda’s games, by the 10-year-mark, typically already over 70 % of the game’s bugs have been fixed, which is nice!
(My current computer is kind of a powerhouse, though! It can run both Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV with full graphic settings. Of course not the remastered editions, but it’s still awesome getting to play those with my own computer now! Fallout:NV I did play almost completely through on a computer that I was able to regularly use elsewhere)
Thanks for the massive up votes, as well. Been plugging away on my free time. One of the most story-driven games of the decade. Thanks guys. I knew he died at the end, but not the cause.
Not only that, but to reach this point in the post, you would’ve read the meme that heavily implies something bad happens. If that didn’t deter you from continuing, you read the above comment that was asking for someone to further explain the meme.
If you still needed a spoiler tag after all that then what are we doing here people
I don’t have the money to buy everything when it comes out, let alone the time. I caught rdr2 on sale and have been plugging away. It’s not the spoilers, it’s smug people like you.

You can make a proper spoiler message this way:
::: spoiler Some text here, whatever. Click here.
The actual spoiler content here
It won’t be visible until you click the spoiler thing open.
:::
And this is what it will look like:
Some text here, whatever. Click here.

It won’t be visible until you click the spoiler thing open.
Could you be so kind and edit your message, making the spoiler look that way?
Done
Thank you for being awesome! ❤️
Mistakes happen. The important thing is to learn from them, and you clearly know how to do that. Cool!
I was about to play that game
your spoiler warning doesn’t work if you can see the text while reading the warning
I finally get a computer that can run it and I get the ending spoiled immediately, thanks god

Maybe some spoiler markup would be cool.
Bro you are reading a post asking about what happens in the game. Of course it’s a spoiler.
I thought it was some kind of game mechanic or something else that they didn’t understand. I didn’t think it would be this spoiled. 🤷♂️
Darth Vader is Luke’s father
oh and Snape kills Dumbledore

But now I know. Thanks?
😐 What are we doing here right now, friend?

No worries.
I kind of disagree though. There’s always someone who isn’t in the loop and being cautious shouldn’t take much effort. Meh. Maybe I’m overly empathic.
To be fair, you find out about half way into the game.
So it’s literally a pivotal plot point
Haven’t played it yet though.

Not hard to do. Supported by most clients.
Can’t believe how many people are defending this obvious misuse of the spoiler tag lmao

Goddamn it dude. Not everyone has played the thing. This is just bad form.
Lmfao it’s been almost 7 years

Who said I bought it? Where there’s a will there’s a way, man. You do you.

Bad form indeed. Ruined it for me.
Me too. Smug pricks, some people actually touch grass.
