I had a Zojiirushi in the past too. I agree, it takes too much effort to clean. I now use a wide mouth bottle that just has a screw top lid, not stay or drinking apparatus besides the large open mouth. No gaskets or anything else. It’s only two surfaces to clean and requires no disassembly, other than taking the lid off. It’s much easier to keep clean.

The brand doesn’t matter. Just get a wide mouthed metal bottle of whatever cheap brand is around. None of them have engineered a new alloy that makes their bottles better or anything. Just make sure it’s double-hulled if insulation is important, which most are.

I’ve played it, but yeah, 7 years isn’t that long. If it were like 20 then yeah, people probably have already played it or weren’t going to —though still, there will be some new people, either younger people or curious people, so not an excuse to spoil it. 7 is still recent enough that people are still going to be new to the game.

The good news is, this isn’t much of a spoiler. The game shows this part coming from miles away. You learn about the disease probably like 3/4ths through the game. It’s part of the ending, but it isn’t what makes the story good.

In case you didn’t figure it out, the headline is ambiguous between her giving or receiving the money. Reading “three more words” doesn’t change that.

Also, so what if I did? Shouldn’t that be a parents decision? Say I’m fine with them watching it at 16yo. Shouldn’t that be up to the parent, not the government?

People who give up their freedom to the government are going to lose far more freedom than they’re OK with losing. It starts with something you might agree with, but it never stops there.

Second, why can’t people parent their own kids? What if I don’t agree with the government and want my kid to see stuff the government has decided to block? The government isn’t the parent of your child and you shouldn’t be treating them as such. If you child is doing something you don’t want, it’s your job as their parent to stop it.

If we’re going to start switching desktop CPU architectures, I hope we switch to RISC-V instead.

Legitimately, bots for meetings is the one place where it’s largely useful. You can have it just summarize what was said. That and receiving emails, which people are using AI to extend for no damn reason so other people have to use AI to read them.
