Welcome, ye hordes!
Yet another reason I’m glad I don’t live in America. Sounds absolutely toxic. I can’t compliment my female coworker’s hair one day when she made an effort to make a special hairstyle? Sounds like a prison to me.
Thanks for the info though!
Okay. I talk to whoever I want like this at work without issue. I’m happily in a relationship, but I treat everyone I talk to like this—with respect. Ask questions and show you’re interested in what people say. It’s just friendly as well. Maybe in America this is an issue in the workplace?
But if you genuinely feel interest for someone at work, show them outside of work. Ask them out to somewhere where you can talk. If they say yes and agree to it, surely they shouldn’t report you for harassment. But there’s no harm in talking to a colleague at work, surely. Otherwise what the fuck kind of bullshit workplace are you at?
After all, most people in relationships are also good friends within that relationship… So speaking in a friendly way should never be an issue.

Surely both countries are equal more.
Hey virgies, talk to the person you’re interested in and show them you’re interested. Make sure you let them speak freely and until they finish their point, and show that you’re interested in hearing what they have to say with your body language. Best of luck!
Hey, at least you’re StillAlive.
Hey, welcome to the fediverse!
Unrelated, of course.

My wife was singing “Hello darkness, smile friend” until she met me. When I heard it I was like, “can you sing that back for me one more time?”
I don’t know how long we laughed but it was equally funny the next day when we remembered it again.
This will work.
Have you tried?
I’m sorry someone made light of your very serious life experience. I know that isn’t fun.
Love you. Stay strong, and I hope you live many more days and only let old age take you away in the end. 🫂
Agree with the sentiment but would that not be approx. 30% less effort in order to be perfectly fair?
It’s honestly impossible for me to tell whether he lost his marbles or is just confidently lying to his followers because it doesn’t matter if the things he says contradict each other. None of his followers will ever take two of his statements and compare them. They will just take them as isolated statements that sounds important in the moment.
My man used his mugshot as his profile pic

Might be so. I also feel like our parents didn’t have social media. The parents of millennials and gen X, that is. They had no choice but to make phone calls, send letters, or see each other in person.
I keep closer contact with my friends almost every day through messaging apps, and so there’s not as much social drought as it might seem when you go only by how often we see each other in person. I also game several times a week with a couple buddies, play badminton—there are other social outlets, so to speak.

There’s a lot more stress now. We’re struggling to make time for anything because we both have to work full time to be able to live in the city. Exhaustion turns into apathy, turns into isolation.

Love this reply. One hundred percent agree. Well said.
Bombing bridges is a war crime?
But bombing humans is not? 🧐
