Don’t forget how when it’s an absolutely perfect day to actually be outside there will always be someone who says “we need to sit inside, I’m freezing!” Then you look at them and they’re wearing the legal minimum that can be considered “clothes”

People who live in the tropics are, broadly speaking, acclimated to tropical weather conditions. In the northern tropics, where most of that 40% live, February is still cooler than average even if there is no true winter season, so someone acclimated to hot temperatures is feeling less sweaty than normal.

I’m in the southern US and it was 80F the other day.
I’d sit outside in those temperatures 🙃
It’s more about being acclimated to the temperature. We went from a month of highs being in the 40s (max) to that. If it was the middle of summer, 80F would be a cool day.
