    I’m amazed at how people don’t understand that anything electronic leaves a record, even if it’s just a log file.

      Most of the time, yeah. Almost everything leaves a trace. Even if you cover up your tracks, people who know what they’re doing can still connect the dots. It’s one of the first things you learn when you take a cyber security course.

      I learned some limited packet tracking for a security gig once. The more I learn about tech, the more I find myself agreeing with Uncle Ted.
