Obviously they’re not going to protect the people we replace them with. That’s up to us!

GOP & DNC are the sword $ shield of the wealthy elites respectively.
But still GOP incumbents have always been more likely to face a funded primary opponent. Meanwhile DNC protects theirs from challengers.
Also Americans need to nominate people for candidacy. What stood out the most to me in Knock Down The House was that it was AOC’s brother in law that nominated her and the grass roots organization that vetted and asked her to run.
I think a lot of competant leaders don’t run for office because they don’t believe they will even make it onto the ballot.
Yea but they never will so the only option is to primary them.
Like Americans need to realize that not primarying democrats means they feel safe with your vote and are thus incentivized to prioritize seeking republican voters.
MAGA on the other hand literally primaried people for not being extreme enough… Only took them 6 elections if you think about it.
What a chud post.
NLG OP is kind of the cancer we all wished stayed on reddit.
The democrats aren’t the left.
The democrat politicians; right?
After all, “Othering” the vast majority of working class people is the mentality of MAGA and fascism.

a publicly traded entity controlled by the Ochs-Sulzberger family, who have held authority since 1896. A.G. Sulzberger is the current chairman of the company and publisher of the newspaper, representing the sixth generation of his family to lead the organization.
Just another multi generational dynasty. Inbreeding may be less popular these days but I’ve met some rich families and they raise horrible human beings.
I assumed it would get much better when my cohort of Gen X came through, same as young millennials think today.
TBF the same generation has been in power for 30-40 years now. If the torch had actually been passed it would be a different timeline.

you can’t logically conclude that from solely your local weather fluctuations.
From a pure scientific method standpoint 100%
But changes local weather can easily be corroborated by satelite data of the polar vortex.
Like we can see that wind from the north pole is dipping south faster than it used to. Resulting in cold snaps as the wind rushes south and heat domes in regions between the jetstreams.
This directly results in the increasingly frequent and extreme weather fluctuations we’ve been been experiencing.
…
In my region we regularly have a “false spring” this time of year. We get a week of warm that melts the snow in the valley and then a week later it drops back down and snows again.
But lately the hi’s and low’s are 10c hotter/colder. The heat in between is so warm trees start coming out of hybernation. The cold snaps so fast that it threatens local agriculture.
We just got a foot of wet snow and tomorrow it’s supposed to br 15c and sunny.
…
Couple years ago we were stuck in the heat dome and you could see the polar vortex swooping 100km below us and to either side on the weather channel.
$139 USD ($189 CAD) was all it took for my cheap ass. That and I use an ancient thinkpad because nothing I do on my laptop requires a V10PC

I use the 4k ONN box which can play files off the high seas… i mean USB.

Trying to explain to Americans that the fact they don’t Primary Challenge incumbent democrats is a massive part of the problem; is tiresome.
