Can’t imagine what could possibly go wrong with this idea.

“Do you have and/or operate armed drones” has not been one of the questions I’ve thought to bring up at past PTA meetings.

    Armed with pepper balls

"Once airborne, they offer two-way communication through an embedded speakerphone. They also can break glass, make loud noises, fire nonlethal pepper-spray pellets or take other action within a minute as a first response to an incident. "

theres some gnarly drones. like explosive drones that travel in groups of hundreds. theres nothing you can do when a sea of drones come at you endlessly.

I’ve been predicting that terrorist (aka conservatives in the US) will start using them from long range soon. I’m surprised that this didn’t start happening sooner but I guess people of that disposition aren’t very clever so it’s taken a whole lot longer to catch on.

A crude emp pulse generator is very easy to make. You could probably do it with just the junk tech everyone has around at this point. Battery, wire, switch, maybe a metal bar. Think a capacitor is the only real thing most people can’t just throw together. I mean you could but it takes a little skill.

I don’t see this going wrong at all. Do you know how long a drone battery lasts? Do you trust AI to pick out the right kids to shoot?

    Wtf timeline am I in?

Ah AI only has trouble with minority skin colors so it’s not really a problem. /s

Snort idea. Get there fast and get them down. If, as the article says, the most deaths happen in the first 120 seconds, then time is of the essence to stop them as quickly as possible.

Then again, they could just start feeding people properly and make guns harder to get. But since those are apparently not an option, I guess this is a “best of a bad situation” kind of deal.
