I’m old enough to have known family members who came back from Auschwitz (not all my family members did). They told us kids what happened to them. I never thought I’d live to see this shit come back to haunt us. And coming from jews, and people who are old enough to have known what Nazism does in person no less.
We were so hopeful in the 70s… It really feels like someone stole the future we were promised.
The fact that any member of this government is bending the knee to a foreign leader is incencing enough, let alone how ‘proud’ we supposedly are for stopping this exact behavior in the '40s.
