I cut off all of my conservative Christian family years ago. Best decision I ever made.

I agree, I’d much rather be at peace and by myself, as opposed to being in a toxic environment with others.
It’s wild to me people are afraid of toxic environments…grow up and be a freaking adult.
Life is too short to be around that kind of hatred and anger. I’d rather spend my time with people who love and support each other.
I have many family members that aren’t hateful bigots and we had a wonderful time. No yelling, no snide comments, just happiness.
