Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Video games with good cave and dungeon ambience music? (Other than TES)
1·12 days agoCave noises are fire, but ambience in general is sometimes pretty bad. You’ll often hear happy/calm music while something intense is happening, and there are very few true ambient noises
Tomodachi life: All hail the Gabecube… All hail the Gabecube…
In 100 years people are gonna look back on these 'phobes in the same way that we look back at slave owners… ignoring the fact that a lot of the 'phobes would probably be okay with modern slaves anyways.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Was thinking of getting into 3d printing, doesn't this listing seem too good to be true? (Answered)English
1·18 days agoYou could definitely move onto others with experience, and obviously there are other decent options, but I do think Bambu offers one of the best balances between stability and cost.
I’m not surprised Lemmy is against Bambu though because this site is essentially an open source forum, lol. Thats true though, the lack of modding is why I might not suggest sticking with them.

I recommend Bambu printers if you wanna dip your toes in the hobby. They’re locked down quite a bit but they just work. I think the A1 mini is excellent.
MacBooks are pretty practical. ARM laptops like MacBooks have genuinely ridiculously good battery life; I was genuinely shocked the first time I used one.
Yes, ARM windows exists, but it’s clunky and has little support because unlike MacBooks, not all Windows laptops run ARM, so developers have little incentive to make ARM Windows versions their apps.

Lmao who washes their sheets
