I just got some women’s Levi’s and holy crap it was hard to find the size. I’m about 38-31-41 in inches and 5’9" often jeans fit in a “29” sometimes 28, or 30.

I ordered the 29. Hips fit but waist measurement was 25", what the actual fuck? Who has a 24" waist and 41" hips? Is that even possible?

I ended up with a 31 but they really are too loose everywhere. So comfortable and were cheap so I kept them but WTF, Levi’s?

Length and width ought not be yoked like that, an XL shouldn’t be longer, just wider. You need Short, Medium, and Tall and Extra Tall for that dimension.

I was a tall and skinny kid and the heartbreak of never having pants long enough, because the small ones were all also very short, still I feel it!

As an adult, the first time I saw a ladies size Small Tall in the shop I almost cried.

Women’s bra sizes also suck, because the volume of the cups is tied to the diameter of the half circle the underwire describes, but small boobs aren’t small in width, they just sit closer. Champagne glass, but small bras assume shot glass instead, basically. They need three measurements.

It’s morning here, you can have some coffee & I made raspberry muffins and sourdough bread so toast and/or a wee muffin. The cats are up waiting for breakfast so you can also gaze at them with wonder & admiration.

A lot of alternative rock stuff is very neutral sounding to me, not warm or cool, it’s between.

Can the container be the car? I’ve lived in my car before. Insurance paperwork (to hopefully be able to get $ for the destruction of the house), phone & chargers, IDs, all my underwear, a change of clothes. Work would probably let me park it in the garage while I was recovering from the loss, if I can keep the job, will land on my feet. If not, things quickly devolve.

This answer assumes the other residents of the house are all ok and not part of this scenario, and I only have to worry about me.

When we have had pending natural disaster, we bring clothes, kids & pets, have documents already in plastic bags, stow my car on second floor of work garage and fill coolers with ice, we have a protocol for hurricanes, but fire is a wildcard.

This is tough as they do seem to run this town, I don’t like arena or stadium shows but even The Ritz and Jannus Live use that platform. A few shows are AXS sometimes but they are just as expensive.

Go to small shows that take money at the door. Our community radio station has concerts sometimes, and there are always shows at bars.

I have only been to London and the north, but that is cool & makes sense, it doesn’t freeze there, right?

I did miss lizards in England, they are so nice to have around. And the occasional alligator is cool too, I can only imagine how exciting for a tourist.

I was absolutely stunned to see such OLD things in the UK, we don’t have the thousand year old buildings. And basements & the underground metro, places you walk down underground to get to are very uncommon here, would flood. The rain was different too, not a storm, you can just umbrella your way along, that was nice.
