In the UK, the go to when speaking to the taxi driver used to be “So…been busy?” It was a really strange urge to ask every time.
I haven’t used a taxi in many years, so not sure if that’s changed.
Black cabs in London are alive and well, but I fear The Knowledge is not long for this world.
