What’s there to argue? It’s simply untrue. How much time should I spend arguing something that’s factually inaccurate?
But don’t take my word for it. Look at their other reply. They admit they were just mistaken. They weren’t on that instance. They were on gone wild which is on .world.
You know there’s two gonewild communities, yes? One on lemmynsfw with a post from 2 days ago and that I’m a frequent contributor to, and one on .world where the last post was 2 months ago (and that I’ve never interacted with) that doesn’t even show up in the search results without some dedicated scrolling. I’m going to say it’s effectively impossible to conflate the two accidentally. It’s getting kinda creepy how insistant you are that I must be wrong about doing something completely reasonable.
In her* my bad* defense I know it’s been down for days, but I clicked a link to a lemmynsfw post this morning and it did open, then I tested it again a while ago and it didn’t, so it is weird.
(Her) Yeah, I can still access all my posts from there (they don’t host on lemmynsfw, I think images are hosted on catbox) which is also just thru federation. But there are new posts on Gonewild from two days ago, which doesn’t track with the people saying it’s been down for four days - I suspect the outage is intermittent, but unless the admin comes forward with info there’s no way for anyone to know right now.
Is it still down? Works fine for me.
for me it’s been four days now.
No it doesn’t.

It did when I said that, but it sure isn’t right now.
Edit: Hey look, it’s working again! https://lemmynsfw.com/pictrs/image/89b9ce8b-247e-4ea7-9679-d84ccdec2025.jpeg (nsfw obviously)
No it wasn’t.
Oh look, this isn’t an argument!
Yes it is!
Just contradicting me isn’t arguing!
Yes it is!
No it isn’t! An argument is a connected sequence of statements designed to draw a conclusion. It isn’t just saying “no it isn’t”!

The posts will stay on your instance forever. But as long as the instance is down no new posts will ever come.
Images may or may not show up, depending on if they were externally hosted, got cached, etc.

Gone wild is a .world community.
This one? I’m pretty sure it’s lemmynsfw.
… Are you one of the lemmynsfw admins and I just don’t recognize you?
