but then now I get older, and not an adorable little boy anymore, mom said “以前細個好乖呀，而家越大越唔聽話”, and I feel like my parents just hate me now
Asian superstitions are on another level (sometimes literally). My neighborhood is all condos in a dense urban area that caters to Asian investors for some reason. There are no floors that end in 4, along with the removal of 13. So there is a 12 then the next floor is 15. I guess if we close our eyes reality doesn’t exist.
