Why did he have “immunity” in the first place? Why does anyone get immunity while normal citizens do not
The idea is that the government can not prosecute other members of parliament that the ruling party might not like.
You need to sufficient evidence and a majority must vote to remove immunity.
Its a result of the faschos, of course.
Greece has a similar law in place. It is one of the main reasons why eventually corruption permeated greece.
