I’m interested in the answer to your question as well. There’s an obvious bias to Lemmy, and Reddit was already left leaning compared to IRL.
Not saying I need a space to be hateful, but I’ll admit I’m afraid to explore right wing ideas anywhere on here. I thought Lemmy was supposed to be about free speech free of corporate influence, but I guess you can’t really expect anywhere to be completely neutral.
What ‘right wing ideas’ are you talking about specifically?
I’m fairly left leaning so I don’t have any itching to bubble to the surface, more so I imagine I’d be bringing them up in response to something else, to play devils advocate in a discussion.

I love how people like you suddenly forget why people downvote right wing idealogy and then act surprised all of a sudden. You’re not being censured. People may downvote you to oblivion but you’re still able to say what you want to say.
Fair enough. It’s just that when I hear people talking about ‘right wing ideas’ getting censured, it’s rarely about actual conservative policy, and more just wanting to spout bigotry. I hope you understand that’s why you might be getting downvoted, and it’s why I asked the question. I’ll also say that none of the downvotes were from me.
