  • I’m not using any “forced on me” AI products, other than as a search engine aid, and I have better tools for that now anyway.

I do, absolutely use AI. I use local, self hosted small focused AI that run on old hardware I was just using to self host media and games anyway.

Want do my AI do? Lots of boring organizing, text/voice recognition, and script/simple coding for hobby projects and such, all offline. For online stuff there are private large models vailable, but those cost money and I’m cheap.

If I lost it all? Well it would just take me longer to do the boring stuff and have less time for fun stuff edit

  • The instinct to immediately pull over is a mistake, it arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Mash the pedal down and make the bastard chase you

No cop was ever born who isn’t a sucker for a finely-executed hi-speed Controlled Drift.

Accelerate immediately. When you see the red light, do not stop. Speed up to 120 mph.

Force the chase. Drive to the next exit while signaling confusingly (e.g., indicating a right turn while staying on the freeway).

By forcing the officer to lose control of their vehicle while trying to keep up with your finely-executed hi-speed Controlled Drift, you shift the psychological dynamic. This makes him horny.

  • As someone with a home server and security cameras… (See 3rd paragraph for flock)

The cameras don’t have any ram. At least not the kind we are talking about. They use onboard processors and flash memory.

The NVR typically has 4-8g ram but that’s the not the camera, that’s the hub that they all connect to, and it also has the HHD/SSD wich is now also double+ the price. It’s also not external, it’s in a secure location.

Flock: AFAIK cameras run snapdragon, so it’s like a cell phone, with 2g ram chip. Not PC RAM. That, once again, could be in the NVR, which I believe is cloud based, so not a local device you can access.

  • I went into biology to avoid the worst of the chemistry math, and still ended up taking calculus, organic chem, ext… Then went medical… At least I mostly only do unit conversion and proportions I have memorized now, and use computers for most things.

Spending a lifetime pushing through suspected but undiagnosed dyscalculia is tiresome. Friggin transposition errors… (Probably some type of  Semantic Memory or Procedural subtype).
