21·13 days agoSure, but for some the risk/reward part is not the same as if they were coming from a developing country. And although the QoL is better in the EU, the wages are for the most part lower. So there’s tradeoffs.

5·13 days agoI mean, yes but it’s really not that easy. You need a visa, lots of paperwork, etc.
I don’t much care what people use but to me it feels more like:
“ugh, this shirt is taking photos of my nipples and publishing them for everyone to see and I had to consent to even be able to put it on after having paid for it, also as of late, it’s started making me watch ads in order to wash it and wants me to talk to an IA and train it or it’ll shock me.”
Obviously people are going to tell you to use something else.
I think it’s shitting on windows users who complain constantly about windows but are unwilling to learn anything else.

1·27 days agoI can’t read the article and I’m going by what you quoted which says:
Poland’s GDP per capita.
And I said:
GDP per capita =! GDP per capita PPP>
I think you’re the one who’s confused

14·28 days agoGDP per capita is $24,810 vs $53,195. Although Poland’s recovery after the fall of the iron curtain is great, there is no need to exaggerate.

1·1 month agothere’s now plenty of European EVs around the €20 000 mark that are good enough, same as the Chinese. There’s going to be plenty of Chinese cars in Europe, same as Japanese or Korean, but this notion peddled by some people that the European brands are going to disappear is just moronic.

31·1 month agoI’m not going to read propaganda from an Australian right wing think tank, you’re right.
It’s not actually cheap though, that’s the problem. Basically every country that is pushing “renewables” are having their power bills increase over and over and over with no sign of slowing down because it’s not cheap.
I can’t speak for every country, unlike you, but in Southern Europe the trend is exactly the opposite of what you’re saying. https://www.bbvaresearch.com/en/publicaciones/spain-more-renewables-to-continue-lowering-costs/

Most of them are, the ones that are not, usually are packaged with flatpack or snap. In the few cases they are not you’re on your own, but that’s just the same with Windows

This is a wake up call. EU companies need to diversify supply chains and start producing more in the EU
