Always love the Canadians that don’t see the exact same stuff taking form in their own backyard. You’re just a decade or two away at this rate. I haven’t seen any attempts to shift away despite having Trump and US Republicans to show you the next steps ahead on your trajectory.

Still doesn’t change the fact that Americans who say they will help later, are full of shit and and will never make personal sacrifices to help others.

Ah yes more generalizations with no basis for them other than your feelings. You’re no different than US Republicans there. Feelings and talking down to foreigners are the most important things to spend your time on.

There’s not even anything essential about auto manufacturing in general. Even if it was an American Kei car line making inexpensive vehicles more generally useful daily than nearly anything currently available in the US.

All comments like these do is make people even more apathetic, or even actively negative against your perspective. With that attitude and obvious complete lack of an attempt to consider differing perspectives or think of situations where people cannot just uprooted their entire lives in a day. Because you clearly think your assumptions of everyone’s situations are accurate and inalienable the same way those that support Trump believe he’s right.

Since you clearly are willfully trying not to consider alternate perspectives, based on your other responses in this and similar threads, I hope you’re first in the front. If you were the only casualty I’ll be 100% confident that society across the board would be a better place based on your comments here. The same way that disbanding ICE, or removing Trump from office, would be a net positive across the board.

This is one of those situations where the venn diagram of Trump’s handlers becomes a circle.

You have the billionaire Oil executives that want to continue using all their existing infrastructure and wasy access to continue printing money like they do now. Meanwhile, those companies all see the writing on the wall and know it’s running out so they’re investing in or buying technologies and companies working on alternatives. They’re playing both sides because they’re not idiots.

And then you have the manipulators like Putin (who we know Trump idolizes) with their goals of destroying American power across the board. Having America not only abandon new technologies but even propping up the old ones past when they should be phased out to focus on century-old priorities while the rest of the world continues to move on, helps that overall goal.

Microsoft releases their patches on the same day every month. They do this specifically for planning that sort of thing. Including giving you options in the settings to pause updates for up to 5 weeks.

And that doesn’t even get into the business-oriented options available through things like WSU to give more granular and customized update options for businesses.

If you’re doing something that will take that long… Why aren’t you using the solutions available? Is it because you never bothered to look? You just wanted to complain instead? Because that’s what it looks like when there’s a literal setting dropdown, that’s not hidden at all, that would avoid your example entirely.

For those that don’t know… And are too lazy to Google it, here you go.

Windows only does that if you ignore the update prompts multiple times, which means for multiple days since the default delay behavior is to ask a day later. It’s literally in the settings, including options to have it install updates outside suer-set active hours.

But don’t let that get in the way of the realization that most people just ignore shit until the last second and then blame everything but themselves for it when they run out of options. And that the Internet jumps onto bandwagons faster than the speed of light just to feel like they’re included in something.

They make no effort to actually understand anything and just live off vibes and beliefs with no factual basis whatsoever. Not doing a basic Google search to look up the model and verify before posting like an idiot is par for the course.

The only tech the Kazon had, they stole. Although we didn’t know abything about that at first until we finally got introduced to the Trabe in season 2.

Once you get past the Kazon it gets more varied. The Kazon are just terrible and they drag the show down with them.

That being said, some of my personal favorite VOY episodes are in the first few seasons, they just don’t involve the Kazon.

Can’t really blame them for trying to get some of their money back.

Unadulterated technical incompetence from a tech company is par for the course these days though.

Reddit was already the replacement everyone went to after they redesigned Digg in 2010 to focus on publishers and traffic fell 50% almost immediately. Digg had 40 million monthly visitors and a $160 Million valuation at the time.
