When I bought a new phone for GrapheneOS, I wanted to see if the new Pixel model was worth it, as mine was EOL. Many reviewers made comments about it being weird not buying a new 600 € phone every single year.

Then I checked some statistics from my local national bank. I calculated that the average resident in my country was in debt with 24,000 € and had about 3,000€ on hand.

IMHO: Russia knows it isn’t fighting the EU, but 27 separate forces, some of which definetly will bail out of responsibility, Austria or Hungary for example. If there were at least joint logistics, that would be a big help.

I’m not going to defend anything here, but at least with the Americans, you can say their invasions serve their own self-interest. But at this point, why not just stop? Who is this serving at this point? Let’s say they get Ukraine tomorrow, then what? They’re going to need decades to recover from this.

This is not how it works. EU law is above even the constitution in all EU countries.

IMO: I would wait until GrapheneOS comes out on the new OEMs hardware, which they said is happening 2026 Q4. Personally GrapheneOS is the only OS I would use, as it gets rid of everything from Google.

IMHO: since the USA are busy burning bridges, how about the EU builds some? Build economic and political ties with the Indo-Pacific with the motto: “If you help us with Russia, we’ll help you with China.”
