They’re not so prolific or relevant now but I feel Rise Against deserves a mention. I did my senior essay on their work in high school and honestly it changed a lot of my political opinions doing research/listening for that.

As someone who was once told by a neurologist that I was the poster child for ADHD, I find it a lot less clean cut than “stimulants are basically downers for you.” I took addy for school but I also partied fuckin’ HARD on it. There’s like a middle dose that mellowed me out, but ROI, dosage, and what was in my system had a lot to do with it. I don’t take amphets anymore, medicinally or otherwise. Last time I tried I thought i was gonna have a heart attack.

I haven’t seen a doctor in fifteen years. I haven’t been able to afford a car since my last one died seven years ago. I’m thirty years old having to split rent three ways. This country is a labor camp with a first world facade.

I’ve been daily driving nano for years, I wish it was less of an afterthought when people debate text editors.
