Combine people who bitch about dues, union politics and problems, along with right wing blue collar attitudes and constantly looking to game the system for better or worse and you probably get what they’re saying is “miserable”.

My job is pretty much white collar and unionized, but a huge chunk are right wing, essentially racist but indirectly so, and vote for the very people who are anti-union and very much for profiting at the expense of employees. They’re such myopic douches they bitch about work problems being caused by any other group attempting to unionize or slowdown during contract negotiations.

My favorite tech buy is a good 3D printer.

The ability to imagine something, model it in 3D, and then send it to a box and have it “magically” become real via 3D printing will never not amaze me or stop being cool.

Plenty of other useful tech toys like a jellyfin PC or a 3D scanner, but the printer is the thing I enjoy the most.

Because you’ve got about as good of odds to have a good and lasting relationship at that age as you do of winning a large lottery sum.
