While I agree in principle with the OP, I feel I must point out that that wouldn’t completely make cars unnecessary. There are still remote or sparsely populated areas (a lot actually in my country) where comprehensive public transport is impractical or next to impossible. I’d say we have use for both. Especially so if self driving means being able to summon a car when you need one without needing to own one. Or would that actually count as public transport then…?

I was thinking colouring his hair, but I don’t know where WD40 comes in. Unless that’s also a brand of hair colouring.

Nice to meet you too.
I occasionally do counting/following breathing at start, especially if there is lots of “noise” in my head. Not sure that would count as actual anapanasati, but I guess that’s a line drawn on water in the end.
I do not find concentrative states offputting as such, just maybe not all that useful for me in the long run.
I do it daily by myself and irregularily with a group of friends of mine (sort of weekly our timetables permitting). I’ve also participated in a few day sesshins once or twice a year for over ten years.
For the optional second he’d surely deserve a bonus, no?
It’s basically an abysmal text editor combined with the worst page layout software the world has ever seen. Creating documents with it very much resembles masturbating with a blender.
