I don’t have any of those either, but if I try to think of the letter and then just “feel” a color, what pops up is green. I’m not sure if it’s the shape or the sound, or that green has two Es in its name, but that’s the color that appears for me.

19·8 days agoWhile voter apathy is widespread in the US, note that voter disenfranchisement has been honed over decades so many people either didn’t get to vote or could not vote because the impact to them short-term was too great to afford making decisions for the long term (e.g. people losing their jobs while living paycheck-to-paycheck).

Technology@lemmy.world•China's new iron battery hits 99.4 percent efficiency over 6000 cycles
3·14 days agoBut cycle life is a central parameter for the cost of a battery, the longer it lasts the more rarely you have to replace it. In the longer term, a battery that lasts twice as long can be practically half as expensive.
Thank you. I feel like people either think “Stalin was a socialist/communist and a horrible leader” or “Stalin was a socialist/communist and good, actually” instead of considering that maybe the socialist branding was just the propaganda they used to justify the dictatorship.

I am unsure why you bring this up seeing as how nuclear power can not react due to load demand and instead only provides base load power, which means other power sources are required to keep up with transient demand.

I get more of a reddish brown.
