I was looking into installing compiz on new arch install but it doesn’t support wayland yet. Really wanted to see what they’ve been up to over the years. Miss the super over the top bling. Might be able to convince my niece and nephew to try linux out if they saw how fun it can be.

KDE offers much of the same functionality still, without the rizz. Still has wobbly windows which I use still in kde. The cube lacks the beauty that compiz has with the popped out windows and all. Never felt as spanky either so i tend not to set it up.

For me it was Compiz Fusion videos like this that sold me on linux as my daily driver.

I really like rockabilly and 50’s music in general. Love classical music! Liszt, Debussy, Chopin, Brahms, Strauss, Wagner, really a great lineup.

But OWR brought so much to the table. Ali-G, Schwarzenegger, Bobcat, as radio hosts. NIN instrumental, synthwave bangers, Twilight Zone, Peewees Playhouse, 8-Bit Hits.

I still just put on SynthstreamFM youtube and code for 7 hours and put it on again.

Icecream Carls hatred for Machoman’s antics, his love of Trashcan Carla the Commonwealth just feels better!

Me and my friends used to play frisbee golf. I started hating being associated with them about the time they started blasting their music on the course. I don’t like to attract attention, ever. Id rather blend in the background. So I just make up an excuse when envited. I’d rather play alone anyway.

Personally I like hearing the birds or catching some wildlife doing their thing.

Old World Radio for Fallout 4 is the best radio I have yet come across. Ice Cream Carl is the best DJ! I will die on this hill.
