You don’t even need a Switch to play Switch games, just a somewhat decent PC. Keep it on the down low though, Nintendo doesn’t like it and they have an army of fanboys who will defend them.
You only need a physical Switch and to dump the games if you want to do everything perfectly legally.
BOTW is fun, Nintendo sucks, TOTK is glorified BOTW DLC for standalone release price.
Honestly much better experience emulating them on PC where you have full control over your save files and you can mod if you want. Nintendo could make a lot of money if they officially released on PC but they want absolute control over the hardware and software.

I hopped around until I found Arch, and it has been rock solid, first time an OS has lasted ten years without needing a reinstall. Windows has never lasted more than two years without shitting itself.
