WomanMGT makes common sense statement! Bombshell news!Edit: Accidental sexism. My problem is with MGT, not women.

Technology@lemmy.world•Tesla profit tanked 46% in 2025 | TechCrunchEnglish
122·19 days agoInvestors largely expected the decline in sales in Tesla’s fourth quarter and full-year results for 2025, and the company beat Wall Street’s estimates for earnings and revenue, sending shares up in after-market trading Wednesday.
Remember, this is talking about profits, not revenue. They’re still making profit. They did shit profits, but it was more than people expected them to make, so shares went up. Fuck Tesla.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Americans, what do you have to say to people who lived through governments being over thrown at the hands of your country?
8·24 days agoI’m sorry. This isn’t my choice. In fact, most the time when this happens, majority of Americans don’t agree with it. The United States is incredibly corrupt, and has been for ages. It’s just that now the most corrupt people in power has stopped to pretending. We desperately want things to change in our country too.
I feel like very few people must be using jQuery nowadays, but I suppose this is good news for those who still are.
I think the majority of Lemmy users are Reddit refugees, not because they got banned, but because of the Reddit API changes that forced 99% of the third party apps to shut down.
Exact same situation for me. I was flabbergasted. My first computer was black and white. I’ve been around technology my whole life. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would need to Google how to turn off a device that only has 3 buttons.
I would suggest updating your title to something like “Tips for interacting with mute customers in retail?”
Respectfully, I don’t see anything in your comment correlating how you feel to the marriage vs the general relationship. Do you feel there is a difference?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I'll start: to be invisible.
5·4 months agoThe ability to break things down into bricks of their atomic elements. Imagine what could be done with waste and recycling, especially tech recycling. You could make money easy.
If you were willing, I think you could create world peace (not absolute, but you could end wars if dickhead political leaders suddenly became chunks of carbon and other elements).

Technology@lemmy.world•Meta’s Ray-Ban Display Glasses And The New GlassholesEnglish
14·5 months agoThat’s intentional.
Smart glasses also raise many privacy concerns, as their cameras and microphones may be recording at any given time, which can be unnerving to people. When Google launched their Google Glass smart glasses, this led to the coining of the term ‘glasshole‘ for people who refuse to follow perceived proper smart glasses etiquette.
