I think Fair phone with eos is the “least evil” option but you won’t be able to use most banking apps or contactless payment.

The $700 you give Google for a pixel is only going to erode your privacy further and personally I wouldn’t trust any device made by them, regardless of the OS.

I have that exact coat and can tell you that it really isn’t particularly warm. Even with three layers below it isn’t good below about -5c and is particularly bad in the wind.

This is true, I would say it is currently the most ethical smartphone you can buy today, though. If you get it with e.os installed it is also more privacy focussed as well but as a heads up e.os doesn’t work with some banking apps.
