Generally I’ve found the peanut gallery at large on Lemmy to be supportive of genuine creative works. Even my own rather niche ones. I’ve only had one or two genuine assholes show up in the comments and they were soundly dogpiled by everyone else in short order.

I’m rooting for you. I think you’re doing great.

(Side note, though. I suppose having both your face and actual physical location prominently displayed on the internet may be required for professional purposes, but man. That kind of thing skeeves me out, and always has done since the days of dial-up. I’d much rather remain an anonymous and tacitly heavily armed penguin residing in an undisclosed location, especially these days.)
