A phone application that has a queue when you open it before it displays your account information.
Tells me they can’t scale their application. No way they would want people to wait there for so long, they want your money

@NarrativeBear@lemmy.world this is nothing new. Back when the COVID-19 pandemics was at its peak, a state-owned Brazilian bank Caixa Econômica Federal created an app named “Caixa Tem”, where people could apply for and receive a governamental aid. The app had a “queue” akin to that one.
It seems more reasonable to me in that circumstance, as it’s a temporary scenario, they would have little idea of what demand would be and potentially were not able to scale their profit to cover increased load cost.
