Google is testing a 5GB free storage limit for new Gmail accounts unless users add a phone number to unlock the full 15GB.

    Do they let someone else sign up for the address if you delete it? This is honestly the only reason I haven’t deleted my Gmail accounts. Barely get anything but old spam there now.
