With a rooted phone, it’s possible on paper, but you might as well use Linux From Scratch at that point.

No. That would need you to turn your device into a USB Mass Storage device, and android phones connect to pc via MTP. With a rooted phone, it’s possible on paper, but you might as well use Linux From Scratch at that point.
