The most urgent security issue Europe faces never made it into the speech by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Munich Security Conference, says Polish Deputy Prime Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, who is also Poland's foreign minister. And that is Russian aggression against Ukraine.
That is Radosław Sikorski. He used to be a member of PiS, the right-wing populist party. Nowadays he says he’s a liberal conservative, though, part of the EPP. If his views truly have shifted, he’s grown more moderate. But it remains to be seen.
It’s true however, that one third of Americans perceive the threat to be a currently nonexistent form of communism in Europe; and that the other 2/3 and most Europeans alike, do not hold these delusions.
I don’t think it is “communism” the Trumpists see in Europe. I cannot remember them ever using that word.
I mean, he’s busy financing the far right and toppling socialist party-led countries left and right.
They don’t need to be telling they’re anticommunist when they already do it anyways.
