        Put simply I think the euro is a bad idea and hitching the UK to countries like France, Spain & the plethora of eastern European users seems like a recipe for pain. Its thought that had the UK been using the euro in 2008 the financial crisis would’ve been felt significantly more than it was with the pound.

        Plus the UK has seen a period of political & financial instability over the last decade that is only now beginning to settle & I’d rather not risk something else being set off via attempting to join the eurozone.

      I’ll leave it to the economists to decide what’s actually best. I’m just a layman who appreciates the unity, simplicity, and all it represents.

      Imo we need to move forward together as a continent in order to best defend our interests. The days of thinking small and divided are over.
