I’ve only been abroad one time, and there were little gecko/lizard things everywhere, climbing up walls and scurrying across roads, and nobody cared. I was constantly fascinated but to the locals they’re just kinda there.
Bonus question to anyone who visited the UK - was there anything that fascinated you but I’d be taking for granted?
Pic unrelated.

To avoid Google:
„If you are thirsty
Go to Wiekevorst.
There, you have a little dog
That pisses into your little mouth.”
(no drinking water)
Is there an origin story for that saying around there?
Not that I know of, but the saying is very old. I remember my great-grandma telling me it when I was little.
Hahaha. That’s definitely wtf.
Thankyou.
