Every year, I grab my camera and head out to try take a photo of a firework. Every year I get a blurry mess of poorly exposed photos. This is the best one I got this year.

Here’s one of mine, shot from a smartphone with a good telephoto camera!

See, this here is why real photographers hate smartphoners. You don’t spend thousands on body’s and lenses, and you get better photos than us!

Jokes aside, that is a great photo, and a great location. Tilt-shift would have looked amazing!

Thanks! (I do have a “real” camera though, but I didn’t have it on me when there were fireworks. Something about the best camera is the one with you? If you’re wondering, it’s the Sony ZVE-10, which isn’t really meant for photos, but it was a lot cheaper than the equivalent A6400 at the time, only difference is no EVF and white plastic body)

Thanks! “Comparison is the thief of joy” - I guess? It looks coolish, but its a bit abstract. It is extremely hard to practice for fireworks :(

Also, been a long time since I have heard corker being used. I like it, we should use I more often.
