Cool, now my 2 viewers can know ahead of time.
I equate it like this. I selfhost Matrix and XMPP too, but it’s more to remove potential issues with other instance runners or servers dying before I do. I don’t have 20-50 people to chat with in a room of my own.
If someone watches a video, cool, but I mostly selfhosted it to watch.
I wonder if the streaming feature will support P2P as well.
EDIT: Well that was a dumb question, lives are already a thing and P2P is supported.
