    I feel like Airbus has a BIG opportunity in area of AWACS platforms - making an E-7 (AWACS-flavored 737) competitor would probably see more than a few interested buyers. Considering the success of the Saab 340 AEW&C, perhaps a collaboration between them could be useful. Upsizing and expanding the systems capabilities to use the additional space and power of an A320neo or A350 would be a very interesting basis for an AWACS, EW, and C3 platform. Also, it’d probably provide a good amount of headroom in terms of future extensibility.

      Not knowing much about the airframes, there must be a reason SAAB and Bombardier work in corporation. The new sensors seems to be much smaller then before.
