I’m on Tumbleweed for years with no major issues. I messed it up couple times myself (switching to Wayland and also pipewire among others) but there’s Snapper to save my ass. To see the update bork the system? Happened once I believe. Also solved by snapper and waiting a week.

Sure, updates are available almost daily, but they’re not forced. I update when I have time/will. Sometimes twice a week sometimes after months. Still solid.

It’s also flat. And I mean really flat. Mountains are just at the south and the rest is flatland to the point it feels kind of overwhelming for the lack of better word for me coming from hilly landscape.

Yeah, it’s gimped too much. Especially the first generation with weaker motor feels barely like shopping bag on wheels… It could work for work/school commute for me, but apart from that? Same with EVs, but re-sellers ask a premium for this “brand new technology” and yada yada yada… The cheapest of Swasticar model 3 (first production year 2019, with over 200k km, smaller battery) I could find is over £15k. Kia EV6 similarly aged and (ab)used? Hand over well over £20k…
