Phones used to be “free” but your bill was higher to cover it. Your bill stayed the same whether you took the “free” phone or not. Now your bill is lower, but buying a phone through the carrier brings it back up. That’s been my experience at least.

For me it’s the opposite. I tend to get really into a pandora station for a few months, then get tired of it and it’s almost permanently played out to me. Even going back to it years later it will feel old. For someone like me, physical media just doesn’t make sense. Paying pandora $5/month to have ad free (and DJ free) music when I’m driving or exercising is worth it to me.

Vibe coding is asking gpt for code, copying it into your code environment, then telling gpt about any errors or issues. The problem is that it actually works a significant amount of the time, let’s be generous and say 80%. Another 15% of the time it cannot solve a problem itself. And finally the worst possible outcome is the last 5%, where it creates a seemingly working solution that actually breaks on edge cases or has potential security issues.
More importantly if they say the price increase is exclusively due to tariffs and then they get overturned, then people will expect prices to go back down.
