My grandmother doesn’t grasp the concept that streaming shows don’t come on at a certain time; they come on when I press play. She’s very forgetful and I’ve tried to explain this to her several times.

My ex once suggested throwing peanut butter at random people to make some sort of a point (something to do with them believing schools banning peanut butter was arbitrary). I’m not sure whether they understood, before I told them, that throwing peanut butter at random people can literally kill someone. If someone actually did that, I wonder if sheer stupidity would work as a legal defense. They were too stupid to ask why peanut butter is banned in schools.

Snacks at the movie theatre. Costs a lot more than it’s worth but I like to have popcorn and soda at the theatre

They irritate me. I guess I sort of understand, some people have too much going on in their personal lives to pay attention to politics, but it still drives me mad. Especially given the current situation in the Untied States. It’s inching closer and closer to full on holocaust. Soon, people will be being imprisoned and executed purely because of their race and there will be people going “I don’t know anything about that cause I don’t follow politics”. And it will be because of people who couldn’t be bothered to pay attention and vote against it.

I watched The Apprentice when I was a teenager. I seem to have blocked out my memory of how I felt about Trump back then but my aunt says I used to think he was funny. I remember the opening tricked me into believing he was a good businessman (I was a teenager and this was my first introduction to him). I wouldn’t say I viewed him as a hero but I guess I liked him as a celebrity. Now he’s ruined countless lives. It was the birther conspiracies that made me start to dislike him.

I saw a romcom right after a breakup once. When it got to the part with the cliche third act breakup, I wanted them to stay broken up. I thought they broke up for sensible reasons and got back together for dumb reasons. I don’t recall what movie it was. I remember a scene with a doctor marking someone’s knee for surgery. It was the year 2015

The only thing I can think of to do to prepare is stock up on food in case of emergency. I really don’t think I have much chance of survival when it all goes to hell. I guess try to enjoy things while we still can. I quote I think of a lot lately:

There’s little I can do to prepare in case the fascists come for me. The best thing to do seems to be to keep living my life as normal fir as long as I can

Well I wouldn’t say it’s completely impossible. A lot of technology exists that would have been seen as impossible in the past. But I think intergalactic travel is extremely unlikely. I can’t imagine that we will ever create ways for the human body to withstand long distance travel as portrayed in shows like Star Trek

I’d want to see a movie address the harm they do. I’m not sure how they could address the pedophilia without being inappropriate

Who knows. Maybe the same drug sometimes affects the same people differently. I once had severe memory loss after drinking weed soda even though I had had the same product numerous times before without experiencing memory loss

Maybe not though. I suspect I had weed laced with cocaine once and it filled me with such dread I had to turn on all the lights in my apartment and refused to go to bed until after sunrise
